How is Sleep Apnea Diagnosed?

Sleep Apnea is diagnosed with a sleep study read by a board certified sleep physician.  If you think you may have sleep apnea, contact us, we can get you tested right away in the comfort of your own home!

Start by taking our Sleep Apnea Assessment Questionnaire.  We will guide you to get tested, diagnosed and treated promptly.

During your visit, we will discuss your symptoms and review your medical history.  A  sleep study is needed to fully and accurately diagnose a sleep condition and its severity. Sleep studies can be completed at home or with a referral to a lab.  A board-certified sleep physician will interpret the findings, identify the correct diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatment options.

The goal of treatment is to open the airway, restore normal breathing during sleep and to help you feel better by allowing you to sleep better and diminishing bothersome symptoms, such as fatigue and snoring. Treatment may also help lower blood pressure and decrease risks for stroke, diabetes, and heart disease.  Come visit us, WE CAN HELP!
