Referring Doctors
THE SLEEP TEAM understands the frustration that you may feel when a patient is unable to tolerate CPAP and we are here for you. We are always eager to work with fellow medical professionals to help their patients struggling with snoring and sleep apnea. Over the years, we have partnered with general practitioners, sleep doctors, neurologists, cardiologists, ENTs, general dentists, and more. We maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the care process, keep the patient’s cost to a minimum using insurance, and always send them back with a complete treatment plan. If you would like to refer a patient to our sleep practice, you can do so just by sending us at fax to (702) 799-9831 or email at [email protected].
VIDEO: Consider Oral Appliance Therapy for your CPAP Intolerant Patients
What you can expect from our team:
- We follow AADSM protocol for treating sleep apnea.
- We will always send follow up letters so you can follow along with your patient’s treatment.
- We will always require a referral from the patient’s sleep doctor or primary care doctor.
- We are participating providers with many health insurances. We work with and bill many medical insurance plans.
- We always use the highest quality FDA appliances with the best warranties for our patients. We are not a one size fits all office!
- We are committed to continuing education for sleep apnea, oral appliance therapy, learning about the latest studies and attending all sleep continued education courses.
- We are not afraid to tell a patient that oral appliance therapy may not work for them based on our findings with the patient.
- We educate patients on the adjunct treatment options such as bed wedges, nasal cones/strips, sleep masks, diet/weight loss, and proper sleep hygiene.
- We continue to see great results with the use of oral appliances and also recognize that CPAP is still the gold standard in treating sleep apnea.
Dr. RODRIGUEZ-VALLE enjoys meeting with physicians and their team to educate them on Oral Appliance Therapy and how we can be a resource for you and your patients. If this is something you feel will benefit your office and would like to schedule a lunch and learn please email us at [email protected].
*Please note, when referring a patient to our office, we need a copy of the patient’s Diagnostic Sleep Study, the Oral Appliance Therapy Prescription Form below and the notes for the patient’s pre and post sleep study visits.
